Trademark and Copyright Notice — Oasis, OasisGUI, OasisNet and oasisgui.com
Effective date: [DECISION: publication date] · Last updated: [DECISION: publication date]
Draft prepared for review by counsel — 2026-10-06. This is a first draft produced for attorney review and is not legal advice. It has not been adopted by Varrock Inc. Every point that needs a business or legal decision is marked [DECISION: …] or [COUNSEL: …] and collected in section 13. Repository facts were checked against the source tree on that date; anything unverified is marked, not assumed.
This notice explains who owns the names, artwork, code and text that make up Oasis and oasisgui.com, how you may refer to them, which names belong to others, and how to tell us if you believe something on the Site infringes your rights. It is part of the Website Terms of Use (section 12.3) and is read with the End User License Agreement and the Third-Party Notices.
1. Who we are#
1.1 The Site and the Software are provided by Varrock Inc., a Delaware (USA) general corporation, Delaware file number 10482601, incorporated 2026-01-22 ("Varrock", "we", "us"). Varrock's registered agent is LegalInc Corporate Services Inc., 131 Continental Drive, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA. That is the registered agent's address, not a company office; section 12.2 says how formal notices by post reach us. [DECISION: publish a company mailing address for notices? None is known.]
1.2 The only Varrock mailbox published on the Site is sales@oasisgui.com. Where this notice needs a rights mailbox it writes [DECISION: contact mailbox]; until one exists, sales@oasisgui.com is the only address that reaches us.
2. Definitions#
- "Site" means the website at oasisgui.com and every page under that domain, including
/docs/,/demo/and/downloads/. - "Software" means the OasisGUI desktop application for macOS, Linux and Windows, the Oasis Mobile application for iOS (at the date of this draft distributed to testers through TestFlight only, not on the App Store), the helper programs bundled with the desktop application (
oasis-runner,oasisnetand the virtual-machine helpers), and any update we publish. - "Oasis Materials" means everything Varrock created in the Site and the Software: code, user interface, the demo at
/demo/, documentation, screenshots, diagrams, the application icon and the hero image to the extent Varrock owns them (section 3.7), the changelog, these legal documents and, to the extent protectable, the trained neural-upscaler weights in the application (src/cnnWeights.ts) [COUNSEL: whether trained weights are protected by copyright, database right or only as a trade secret in the US and EU, and how to describe them here] [DECISION: record the training data's source and licence before relying on this claim, as the Third-Party Notices §3.6 also require] — but not Third-Party Components. - "Third-Party Components" means software, fonts, firmware and other material owned by others that is distributed with the Software or used by the Site, as listed in the Third-Party Notices.
- "Varrock Names" means the names and marks in section 5. "Third-Party Marks" means the names and marks in section 7 and any other mark belonging to someone other than Varrock.
3. Copyright in the Oasis Materials#
3.1 Copyright © 2026 Varrock Inc. All rights reserved, except as stated in this notice, in the Third-Party Notices and in any licence Varrock grants in writing. The Site footer carries the shorter line "© 2026 Varrock Inc." (year substituted by script). [DECISION: whether the footer should read "© 2026 Varrock Inc. All rights reserved." and link this notice (see also 3.3 and 11.5).]
3.2 Unless a document in this folder says otherwise, nothing on the Site or in the Software is open source, public domain or free to copy. The Software is licensed, not sold: the free-for-personal-use offer on the Site is a licence under the End User License Agreement, not a transfer of ownership.
3.3 Year. The first commit in the product repository is dated 2026-03-23, after Varrock's incorporation, so "2026" is correct at the date of this draft. The Site footer substitutes the current year by script. [DECISION: keep the footer's automatic current-year substitution, or print a fixed first-publication year or range?]
3.4 Chain of title. The commit log (2026-03-23 onward) shows about 1,150 commits by five human git identities and one coding-agent identity. Every human identity uses an e-mail domain belonging to an organisation other than Varrock Inc., and nothing in the repository records an assignment to Varrock. For Varrock to own the Oasis Materials outright, the rights of every contributor — and of any employer that holds them under its national law — must have been transferred to Varrock in writing, and the agent-generated portions need review under current United States Copyright Office guidance. [COUNSEL: chain of title. The commit log (2026-03-23 onward) shows ~1,150 commits by five human identities and one coding-agent identity; every human identity uses an e-mail domain belonging to an organisation other than Varrock Inc. Confirm (i) whether that organisation or its employees hold the economic rights under their national law and, if so, obtain an assignment from the organisation as well as the individuals; (ii) written assignments or employment/contractor agreements with each individual, noting that US work-made-for-hire does not cover contractor-written software absent qualifying employment; (iii) moral-rights waivers or non-assertion undertakings for contributors resident in EU Member States where moral rights are inalienable; (iv) ownership of any pre-repository or pre-incorporation code; (v) the copyright status of agent-generated portions under current US Copyright Office guidance and whether a registration should carve them out.] [DECISION: list each contributor identity, the person behind it, their employer at the time, and their country of residence.]
3.5 Registration. No copyright registration is known for any Oasis Material. Registration is not required for protection but is a precondition to a United States infringement suit and statutory damages. [COUNSEL: whether to register the desktop application, the website and the documentation with the US Copyright Office; computer-program deposit rules allow redacted source.]
3.6 Notices inside the products. The desktop bundle metadata carries an empty copyright string and publisher: "Oasis" (src-tauri/tauri.conf.json), the desktop bundle identifier is com.oasis.gui, and the iOS project uses the bundle identifier prefix com.zawiasa.oasis. [DECISION: set the bundle copyright to "© 2026 Varrock Inc." and the publisher to "Varrock Inc."; add an About panel showing this notice and the Third-Party Notices; decide whether the bundle identifiers stay as shipped (changing one breaks update continuity and App Store identity).] [COUNSEL: whether the "zawiasa" identifier prefix and the Apple developer account the iOS build is signed under belong to Varrock Inc.; if not, they must be transferred or licensed to it.]
3.7 Artwork. The Site displays two images — the hero image (website/assets/hero-oasis.png, a palm reflected in still water above a data grid) and the Oasis mark (website/assets/mark.png) — and the application ships the icon (app-icon.png, app-icon-rounded.png); Open Graph and social images (og.png, og-plain.png, x-cover.png, x-profile.png) derive from them. The repository records only when they were added (2026-07-10 and 2026-07-11), not who made them, how, or under what agreement. Varrock claims copyright in them only to the extent it owns them. [DECISION: record who created each image, how (camera, 3D render, generative tool), and under what agreement or licence; the repository holds no provenance.] [COUNSEL: if either image was produced wholly or partly by a generative-AI tool, advise whether any copyright subsists and how this notice and any trademark application for the stylised mark should describe it; if stock or commissioned, confirm the licence or assignment permits use as a brand mark.]
4. What we do not own: Third-Party Components#
4.1 The Software is built on and ships with open-source and other third-party software, fonts, firmware and tooling, each the property of its authors under its own licence; the list, licence texts, copyright lines and source-availability statements are in the Third-Party Notices.
4.2 Nothing in section 3 claims rights in a Third-Party Component. Where Varrock has modified one (the vendored boringtun, innernet, wireguard-control and spice-html5 trees), the component's licence may require Varrock to make the modified source available; the Third-Party Notices record the current position and known gaps. [COUNSEL: the LGPL-2.1 §6 route for wireguard-control (statically linked into oasisnet) and the LGPL-3.0 §4 route for the minified spice-html5 bundle are not yet chosen; at the date of this draft no modified source is published and no written offer exists, so this notice makes no availability promise.]
4.3 The redesigned Site loads no third-party scripts, stylesheets or fonts and displays no third-party logo; its icons are inline SVG and its images are the hero, Open Graph and mark files in website/assets/ described in section 3.7. [DECISION: confirm the redesign (which drops the Google Fonts stylesheets the currently published page loads from fonts.googleapis.com) is live before this notice is published.] The desktop application bundles the JetBrains Mono (SIL Open Font License 1.1, Reserved Font Name "JetBrains Mono") and Symbols Nerd Font Mono fonts; their licence texts are listed in the Third-Party Notices. [DECISION: ship the OFL-1.1 text with the Reserved Font Name notice and the Nerd Fonts licence bundle inside the application — neither ships today.]
5. Varrock's names and marks#
5.1 The following names are used by Varrock Inc. to identify its products ("Varrock Names"):
| Name | Used for | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Oasis | The product family, the desktop application's display name and the published installers (Oasis_<version>_aarch64.dmg, Oasis_<version>_amd64.AppImage / .deb, Oasis_<version>_x64-setup.exe) |
Unregistered; common-law rights claimed from first public use [DECISION: date of first public use of each name — Site launch, first public release of each package, first public availability of Oasis Mobile] |
| OasisGUI | The desktop application as named on the Site and in the domain oasisgui.com; the Linux build's internal product name (OasisGUI_<version>_amd64.* before publication) |
Unregistered; common-law rights claimed from first public use (same decision as the Oasis row) |
| OasisNet | The WireGuard-based mesh capability and the oasisnet daemon |
Unregistered; common-law rights claimed from first public use (same decision as the Oasis row) |
| Oasis Mobile | The iOS companion application (TestFlight distribution at the date of this draft) | Unregistered; not yet confirmed as used in commerce — the app is distributed outside the App Store through a channel not recorded in the repository [DECISION: is Oasis Mobile offered to the public, and under this name? If not, any filing is intent-to-use] |
| The Oasis mark | The palm-and-horizon artwork and application icon (website/assets/mark.png, app-icon.png) |
Unregistered; artwork ownership under review (section 3.7) |
The Website Terms of Use section 9.3 currently lists a shorter set of marks ("OasisGUI", "OasisNet" and the Oasis logo); the two lists must be made identical before publication. [DECISION: final mark list — this notice proposes Oasis, OasisGUI, OasisNet, Oasis Mobile and the Oasis mark.]
5.2 No registration is claimed. Varrock has not applied to register any Varrock Name with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the European Union Intellectual Property Office or any other registry, so none may be marked ®; Varrock claims common-law rights arising from use. [DECISION: whether to use ™ on the Site and in the application for "Oasis", "OasisGUI" and "OasisNet".]
5.3 Clearance and filing. [COUNSEL: run trademark clearance for "Oasis", "OasisGUI" and "OasisNet" in Classes 9 and 42 (USPTO and EUIPO at minimum) before any filing or public reliance on the names. Note the generic-word risk: "Oasis" is an ordinary English word in wide commercial use, including in software, so expect prior registrations, coexisting users and likely refusals for the word alone; "OasisGUI", "OasisNet" and the stylised palm mark are the stronger candidates, and "GUI" and "Net" may need disclaimers. Advise on use-in-commerce vs intent-to-use (the first-use dates in 5.1 are not yet recorded and will be sworn to in a use-based application) and EUIPO vs Madrid.]
5.4 The company name. "Varrock Inc." is Varrock's corporate name, used on the Site footer and in the enterprise documentation as the contracting entity. It is not a product brand. [COUNSEL: whether to clear and protect "Varrock" as a house mark; the word is also the name of a fictional city in a third party's video game, which may bear on clearance.]
5.5 Component names such as oasis-runner, oasisnet and oasis-vmhelper are descriptive names of parts of the Software, not separate trademarks; Varrock claims copyright in the programs.
6. How you may refer to Varrock's names#
6.1 Permitted referential use. You may use the Varrock Names in plain text, without our permission, to refer truthfully to Varrock or the Software: to say your tool works with OasisGUI, to write a review, tutorial or comparison, to report a security issue under the Vulnerability Disclosure Policy, or to link to the Site. When you do, please:
- use the names as written in section 5 ("OasisGUI", not "Oasis GUI"; "OasisNet", not "Oasis Net"), except when quoting a file or package name exactly;
- use them as proper nouns or adjectives, not as verbs or in the plural;
- not use them more prominently than your own name, or merge them with your own name into one word or logo;
- not suggest that Varrock sponsors, endorses or is affiliated with you, your product or your service unless we have agreed in writing.
6.2 Uses Varrock objects to. Varrock treats the following as infringement of its rights and will object to them unless agreed in writing: using any Varrock Name or the Oasis mark as part of your own product, service, company, domain name, social-media handle or app-store listing name; reproducing the Oasis mark or the hero image; presenting a modified or repackaged build as an official Varrock release; or applying to register any Varrock Name or a confusingly similar name as a trademark, domain or company name. Varrock may oppose or seek cancellation of such registrations. Requests for written agreement go to [DECISION: contact mailbox].
6.3 Modified builds. The End User License Agreement restricts redistribution. Where one is permitted in writing, a build that is not byte-identical to a Varrock release must not be called "Oasis", "OasisGUI" or "OasisNet" without a qualifier such as "unofficial build of OasisGUI", and must not carry the Oasis mark. [COUNSEL: whether a short standalone trademark policy for community builds and integrations is wanted, or whether this section is enough.]
6.4 Domains and handles. oasisgui.com and the handle "@oasisgui" named in the Site's metadata are used by Varrock. [DECISION: confirm which domains, handles and app-store listings Varrock controls and under whose name they are registered; registrations held by an individual should be transferred to Varrock Inc.]
6.5 Nature of this section. Sections 6 and 8 state Varrock's position and grant limited permissions; they do not add obligations beyond those applicable law and the documents in section 12.3 impose, and nothing in them limits what the law allows you to do without our consent (section 8.1). [COUNSEL: confirm sections 6 and 8 are framed as statements of Varrock's position plus limited permissions, not as obligations imposed on non-contracting readers.]
7. Third-party names and marks#
7.1 The Site and the Software name other companies' products and projects to describe what Oasis works with and is built on. Those names and marks belong to their respective owners; Varrock claims no rights in them, their appearance implies no endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation, and the Software is not an official product of any of them. The marks referred to at the date of this draft include (the list is not exhaustive and is re-checked at each Site change):
- Apple, macOS, iOS, Safari, Apple Silicon, TestFlight and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the United States and other countries and regions.
- Microsoft, Windows and WebView2 are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies.
- Linux is the registered trademark of Linus Torvalds in the United States and other countries. Ubuntu is a registered trademark of Canonical Ltd. Alpine Linux is a mark of its project. Nix and NixOS are marks of the NixOS Foundation.
- WireGuard and the "WireGuard" logo are registered trademarks of Jason A. Donenfeld. The Software's mesh uses the WireGuard protocol through third-party implementations: on Linux the kernel's WireGuard module where available, otherwise a vendored userspace implementation (
boringtun, © Cloudflare); on macOS that vendored userspace implementation; on Windows WireGuard LLC's prebuilt WireGuardNT driver — and is not endorsed by or affiliated with WireGuard LLC or Jason A. Donenfeld. - Anthropic, Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC. OpenAI and Codex are trademarks of OpenAI. Kimi and Kimi Code are trademarks of Moonshot AI. Grok is a trademark of xAI. OpenRouter is a trademark of its operator. ElevenLabs is a trademark of ElevenLabs, Inc.
- Chromium and Android are trademarks of Google LLC. Docker is a trademark of Docker, Inc. Podman is a trademark of Red Hat, Inc.
- Amazon S3 and AWS are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Cloudflare is a trademark of Cloudflare, Inc. Intel is a trademark of Intel Corporation.
- Rust is a trademark of the Rust Foundation. Tauri, tmux, xterm, SPICE, VNC, noVNC, Firecracker, Cloud Hypervisor, libvirt, QEMU and restic are names of their projects and may be trademarks of their maintainers or sponsors.
- YubiKey is a registered trademark of Yubico AB.
[COUNSEL: verify each owner and registration status before publication; the list comes from names found on the Site and in the documentation, not a registry search, and the AI-provider and OpenRouter attributions should be checked against the owners' current brand guidelines.]
7.2 How Varrock uses Third-Party Marks. Varrock uses Third-Party Marks only nominatively, in plain text, to identify compatibility, a platform or a component, and only as far as needed; the Site displays no third-party logo. In particular:
- "Works with Claude Code · Codex · Kimi Code" means the Software hosts those tools in terminal sessions the user installs and signs in to themselves; the Install flow runs the vendors' own installers, and the Accounts view reads plan and usage information with the user's own login (Anthropic's API directly; Codex and Kimi from local files). The Software does not bundle, resell or proxy those services and is not an Anthropic, OpenAI or Moonshot AI product. [COUNSEL: review the "works with" and "orchestrate your agents" copy against the Anthropic, OpenAI and Moonshot AI brand guidelines, which forbid implying partnership; and any comparative reference to a competitor (e.g. "alternative to Tailscale", used on the Site until 2026 and still listed in the Terms §9.3) against Directive 2006/114/EC Article 4 and nominative fair use.]
- References to "WireGuard" describe the protocol and driver the mesh uses. The licence of the prebuilt Windows driver the Software redistributes forbids using the WireGuard name to endorse or promote derived products without permission. The Site's phrasing "on WireGuard's own signed driver" and "WireGuard underneath" is intended to be purely descriptive. [COUNSEL: confirm the Site's WireGuard wording stays within nominative fair use and the driver licence's endorsement clause, and whether the 7.1 disclaimer should also appear on the Site's mesh page.]
- "Apple Silicon build", "Developer ID-signed" and "notarized" describe the platform and Apple's own signing process. [COUNSEL: confirm the Apple and Microsoft platform references, including App Store and TestFlight, follow the respective trademark guidelines (word marks only, no logos).]
7.3 If you own a mark used on the Site and believe our use is inaccurate or exceeds nominative use, write to [DECISION: contact mailbox] and we will correct it.
8. Using Site content#
8.1 You may view, download and print pages from the Site, including the documentation under /docs/, for your own reference and for evaluating or using the Software, and may quote short passages with attribution. Any other reproduction or commercial use of Oasis Materials needs our written permission, except as the Website Terms of Use allow. Nothing in this section limits what you may do without our permission under applicable law, including fair use and fair dealing, quotation, criticism, review, news reporting, parody and the exceptions in Directive 2001/29/EC Article 5 as implemented in your country; for the demo build, the rights preserved by section 4.2 of the End User License Agreement also apply. [DECISION: whether to release the public documentation under an open licence such as CC BY 4.0; this draft assumes all rights reserved.]
8.2 Screenshots of the Software and the live demo may be used in reviews, tutorials and documentation about the Software, provided they are not altered to misrepresent it or presented as Varrock's own material. The demo at /demo/ is a build of the Software, licensed under the End User License Agreement.
9. Copyright complaints about the Site (notice and takedown)#
9.1 What the Site hosts. The Site is a static website published entirely by Varrock, with no accounts, comments, uploads or forum. Its interactive parts — the embedded live demo (a build of the Software running entirely in the visitor's browser with a fictitious fleet), a theme switch stored in the visitor's browser, and download buttons that read the release manifest — accept and store no visitor content. Varrock's position is that the Site itself hosts no user-submitted material and that the hosting safe harbour of 17 U.S.C. § 512(c) is therefore not engaged for it. [COUNSEL: confirm; and assess separately whether the push-notification gateway Varrock operates or plans (it relays notification text and device tokens for Oasis Mobile) or any future chat relay makes Varrock a service provider under § 512(a) or (c), in which case a designated agent should be registered with the Copyright Office (the fee is nominal) and a repeat-infringer policy adopted.] [DECISION: the same Varrock-controlled host also serves the Founder network API (founder.oasis.cooking) and the push gateway; confirm whether Founder is a Varrock service offered to the public — if it is, Varrock hosts user content today, and this section and the designated-agent decision must be re-examined now, not later.] A designated agent registered with the United States Copyright Office matters for providers that host or transmit material at the direction of users. [DECISION: whether to register a DMCA designated agent now as low-cost insurance (the registration fee is nominal) rather than only when the Site or a Varrock-operated service hosts user content (a forum, a template gallery, a public mesh directory, a chat relay that stores messages); re-examine whenever such a feature is planned.]
9.2 How to notify us. If you believe anything on the Site or in the Software infringes a copyright you own or control, send a written notice to [DECISION: contact mailbox] containing, as far as applicable: (a) the copyrighted work; (b) the allegedly infringing material and its URL or location in the Software; (c) your name and an e-mail address (a postal address and telephone number are optional unless you are sending a formal § 512(c)(3) notice); (d) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and (f) your physical or electronic signature. These are the elements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3). We process the information in your notice to handle it, as described in section 5.6 of the Privacy Policy.
9.3 What we do. Because the Site contains only Varrock's own material, a complaint is a direct claim against Varrock. We will acknowledge a complete notice, investigate and, where it is well founded, remove or change the material, replace a Third-Party Component or correct an attribution, and tell you what we did. [DECISION: target acknowledgment and resolution times, and who inside Varrock reads this mailbox; publish no time commitment until that is settled.] Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can expose the sender to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
9.4 Open-source licence complaints. If you are the licensor of a Third-Party Component and believe the Software does not comply with your licence (a missing notice, licence text, source offer or attribution), use the same contact; the Third-Party Notices record the current position and known gaps.
9.5 European Union and United Kingdom. EU and UK visitors use the same route. Because the Site hosts no third-party content, the Digital Services Act's hosting-provider obligations should not apply to it. [COUNSEL: confirm that a static, no-user-content site operated by a United States corporation is outside the DSA's hosting and intermediary provisions, taking into account where the site is physically hosted — [DECISION: name the hosting provider and country of the oasis.cooking host; it is not recorded in the repository, and Varrock's other servers are in the Netherlands and Germany] — and assess whether the push gateway or a chat relay is a "mere conduit" or "caching" service under Articles 4–5 with the Article 11–13 duties, including an EU legal representative under Article 13; none is appointed.]
10. Trademark complaints#
10.1 If you believe a Varrock Name, the Oasis mark or any Site content infringes a trademark you own, write to [DECISION: contact mailbox] with the mark, its registration details, the goods or services it covers, the material you object to and why you see a likelihood of confusion. We will respond as under section 9.3. We process the information in your notice to handle it, as described in section 5.6 of the Privacy Policy.
10.2 If you see a Varrock Name or the Oasis mark used in a way section 6 does not permit (an unofficial download site, a look-alike domain, a modified build presented as official), please tell us at the same address; Varrock runs no brand monitoring. [DECISION: whether to set up domain and app-store brand monitoring for "oasisgui", "oasisnet" and the Oasis mark.]
11. Gaps found in the repository at the date of this draft#
- No installer carries a Varrock copyright line, and the iOS bundle identifiers do not correspond to Varrock's name or domain (section 3.6).
- The repository has no root
LICENSE,NOTICEorTRADEMARKfile. The only in-repo licence statement for a shipped binary is theoasisnetcrate manifest'slicense = "MIT AND BSD-3-Clause AND LGPL-2.1-or-later", an SPDX expression that describes the vendored third-party components the daemon is built from (innernet, boringtun, wireguard-control) but, read literally, also offers Varrock's ownoasisnetcode under those licences rather than Varrock's own terms for the binary. [COUNSEL: whether that field has granted an open-source licence to anyone who received the source, and the correct replacement value (e.g. a license-file entry pointing to the EULA with the third-party components separately noted).] [DECISION: is the repository public or shared with anyone outside Varrock? add a root LICENSE pointing to the EULA, a NOTICE pointing to the Third-Party Notices, and this notice; decide what the oasisnet crate's license field should say.] - No trademark application, copyright registration, DMCA agent registration or written trademark policy exists (sections 3.5, 5.2, 9.1).
- The findings that the Site uses no third-party logos, scripts, stylesheets or fonts and hosts no user content (sections 4.3, 9.1) hold for the working-tree redesign, not for the page published at the date of this draft (which still loads Google Fonts); they underpin sections 7 and 9 and must be re-checked whenever the Site changes.
- This notice is not yet linked from the Site, the application or the sibling documents. [DECISION: link this notice from the Site footer beside the © line and from the application's About panel once one exists.]
- The provenance of the hero, icon and mark artwork and of the upscaler training data is unrecorded (sections 2, 3.7).
- The contributor assignments on which section 3 rests are unrecorded (section 3.4).
12. Changes, contact and relationship to the Terms#
12.1 We may update this notice when products, names or Third-Party Components change. The "Last updated" date above identifies the current version, and section 19 of the Website Terms of Use applies to changes. A change does not withdraw a permission under sections 6 or 8 for material you created in reliance on the earlier version before the change was published. [DECISION: whether to keep a dated change log at the foot of the published page, as the sibling documents propose.]
12.2 Rights questions, permission requests, copyright and trademark complaints: [DECISION: contact mailbox]; until one exists, sales@oasisgui.com is the only published address. Formal legal notices by post may be sent to Varrock Inc., c/o its registered agent, LegalInc Corporate Services Inc., 131 Continental Drive, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA, as section 21.2 of the Website Terms of Use provides. [COUNSEL: whether the registered agent accepts correspondence other than service of process; the Terms carry the same question.] Security reports: see the Vulnerability Disclosure Policy; misuse reports: the Acceptable Use Policy; personal-data requests: the Privacy Policy.
12.3 Relationship to the Terms; law. This notice is part of the Website Terms of Use and is read with them. The permissions in sections 6 and 8 are granted under, and the Terms' sections 15 (Consumers in the EU, EEA and United Kingdom), 18 (Governing law and venue) and 19 (Changes) apply to, this notice as if set out here. If this notice conflicts with the Terms or, for the Software, the End User License Agreement, those documents prevail. [COUNSEL: confirm the Terms' section 20.1 is amended to list this notice among the incorporated documents, or alternatively that this notice is published as purely informational with no licence grants, in which case sections 6.1, 8.1 and 8.2 move into the Terms.]

Editor's note: several sibling drafts link the website terms as terms-of-use.md; the file in this folder is terms-of-service.md, which this notice links. Two edits are needed in terms-of-service.md, which this draft may not change: (1) section 20.1's list of incorporated documents must add this notice for section 12.3 to work; (2) section 9.3's mark lists — both Varrock's own marks and the third-party marks, which still name Tailscale although the Site no longer does — must be synchronised with sections 5.1 and 7.1 here.
